They are first planning to buy special software for the departments that need special software urgently, such as Sales department and Finance Department. I told them why don't they start use ERP and an integrated software in the beginning so they don't have to face all the problems that would arose later when they try to use ERP, they asked that not all of their departments are in urgent need for programs like that and they don't want to bear the cost of something that they don't need it now.

Order Fulfilment Process

Order Fulfilment process is the overall activites that it needs for a prodect to be ordered. It starts with the customers inqury to the product and goes to the order of the products until it gets to delivery and after sales services.

The company first looks for suppliers that can supply them with products that are meeting their expectations. They have done this stage mostly manually by going to trade fairs and talk to different suppliers. In recent years, they have used the internet to look for potential suppliers. Out of the companies they have two of them have been found via the internet.

They then send them invoices for products and descriptions of different products they.

Before production of the products start they approve them and have to pay a deposit, mostly %25 of the payment.

Once the production finished, the suppliers ship the products.

The logistics department takes over the process and tracks the products until they get to Iraq.

They have to present all the certificates that the Iraqi governments required.

They then send the products to their warehouse.

The whole process, from placing an order to receiving the products to the warehouse, would take from 3-6 month. But if they have an established relationships with the suppliers then it would take from 1-3 month.

The company uses Skype, online tracking, emails, phones, and SMS to finish the whole process.

They don't have any special software for CRM, they get information from the companies agents in different market in all of Iraq, from visiting supermarkets and mini-marekets, and from watching general trend in the market.
