Once they have found their story, they will make a powerpoint outlining what the story is about, where it came from, are there variations, how was the story passed down, who are the characters, what is the moral/lesson at the end of the story. Once the students finish they will share their research.

In the activity, students will have the opportunity to listen to one of Aesop’s Fables called the Ant and The Grasshopper. The students will learn that a fable is a story that teaches a moral and lesson at the end. Students will hear this story read in Punjabi.
