SCANNING
(WHILE-READING)
This is the Wanted component in the story and it refers to what your character planned on doing in this story or event.
Finally is important to say that scanning reading is better if we already have in mind the question or the topic that we want to find.
To apply this type in an effective way, we need to start from the begin of the text and then going down.
Also if we added skimming to this part we will know faster if the information that we want is on there.
In here we will work like a machine. When we said that is because, we will read without reading.
With scanning reading we will looking for some specific data. We used this type when we already know the concepts or topic, so for that we don´t need to read all.

Using skimming reading can give us an universal idea of the text, but is not a deep knowledge about it.
To find the givens that we are looking for we can read the main paragraph and the last one.
Those two offer us dates, important information and help us to create that general idea that we need.
