What is it?

The teacher will use a text that is visible to all (via projector, large print book, chart paper, etc.) to model effective reading skills and strategies. It is an interactive educational technique led by the teacher. Students are able to gain proficiency by reading along with the teacher as attention is brought to key areas of deciphering texts and reading development.
