Lady Macbeth

Fearful, anxious, and mad

At last, Lady Macbeth has transformed from a callous, malicious being to one who feels remorse and guilt. She becomes so guilt-stricken by the end of they play that she commits suicide.
-Naughts had all's spent -where our desire is got without content -Tis safer to be that which we destroy

Abusive and callous

Macbeth is distraught after he has killed Duncan. Lady Macbeth assures him that he has nothing to worry about and is perfectly calm though Macbeth is hysterical. she simply grabs Macbeth's hands and cleanses them, showing him how simple it is to cleanse oneself and move on from murdering an innocent being.
"A little water clears us of this deed. / How easy is it then!" (II.ii.67-68).

Dominant

-Dominance over Macbeth. -Controls and manipulate him by convincing him to kill king Duncan -Questioned Macbeth's manhood
hie thee hither, that I may pour my spirits in thine ear, and chastise with the valor of my tongue. All that impedes thee from he golden round

Masculine Traits

Lady Macbeth begins the play as a very strong-willed woman who has stereotypical male traits. -She is extremely power hungry and is willing to harm anyone standing in her path to royalty. -Wished upon killing Duncan herself Through the play
come you spirits that tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here and fill me, from the crown to the toe, top-full of direst cruelty 44-46

Self ambition

She was not afraid to direct or talk down to Macbeth. At the beginning of the play, Lady Macbeth plays a very selfish role by 1.) Wanting to kill King Duncan not only for the good of Macbeth but herself to become royalty 2.) The refusal to conceiving a child because it would get in the way of stealing the throne
"but screw your courage to the sticking-place, and we will not fail"
