A solution is cutting a tree must be replaced by planting young trees to replace the older ones that were cut.

Trees are important to the water cycle. They absorb rain fall and produce water vapor that is released into the atmosphere. Trees also lessen the pollution in water, according to the North Carolina State University, by stopping polluted runoff

Deforestation causes loss of species.Seventy percent of the world's plants and animals live in forests and are losing their habitats to deforestation, according to National Geographic.

A solution to not losing species can be by making stricter laws of having a limit to cutting certain number of trees to save habitats of the species.

It is also cut to create ingredients for highly prized consumer items, such as the oil from palm trees

More land is needed for housing so forests are being cut more to provide more land for humans

The deforestation can cause weather changes due to lack of trees which means less rain and more chance for droughts.It also causes less oxygen in the atmosphere.

The garbage produce by each household in the form of paper, aluminum, rubber, glass, plastic, food if collected and deposited into the sea in some countries.

A solution to the problem can be Anti-pollution laws and regulations which will stop garbage being thrown in water bodies

The sewage and waste water that is produced by each household is chemically treated and released in to sea with fresh water. This leads to numerous diseases from the sewage water.

A solution to this can be proper sewage system where the sewage water is not dumped into fresh water and even if it is, there should be proper treatment to have clean water.

Acid rain is an effect of air pollution as harmful gases such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide release from fossil fuels and mix with rain clouds and form acid rain

Global warming is one of the effects of air pollution as global warming heats up the environment and the air pollution causes more heat to be trapped in the atmosphere

Mining causes a large portion of dust to be released in the atmosphere to cause air pollution

Agricultural activities such as the use of pesticides and fertilizers cause pollution in the air

Burning fossil fuels like coal releases carbon monoxide into the environment causing air pollution

A solution for this would be using cleaner energy sources such as solar energy or wind energy which will have no negative affects

Carbon dioxides from factories can release harmful gases in the environment to pollute it

A solution to carbon dioxide released from factories can be by carbon capping to permit the amount of greenhouse gases being emitted to the environment

CFC gases from aerosols and refrigerators causes this gas to be spread in the atmosphere and releasing harmful gases

Sewage treatment can also pollute land as the waste sent to land fills which pollute the land

Construction activities can destroy land as it can leave waste materials in the soil such as cement, wood or bricks

A solution to prevent the harm on land for agricultural activities can be by reducing the amount of pesticides and fertilizers in agricultural activities

Soil erosion causes parts of the land to be taken away and deposited on another side of the river bank causing land to be wasted.
