La poetica del "nido"
Il nido rinvia analogicamente al tema della famiglia e al clima caldo che per Pascoli si colloca solo nel contesto familiare. Quando definisce il nido lo figura come l'ambiente fatto dagli uccelli con rami e ovatta quindi è caldo, accogliente, e ha una forma circolare che è un simbolo di perfezione e di protezione.
