In 1988, she became a Member of the Order of Canada and ten years later, in 1998, she was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada.She has received the Governor General's Confederation Medal and in 1994, was given a National Aboriginal Achievement Award, now the Indspire Awards. In 2002, she received the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal and in 2012, the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. She has also received honorary doctorates from Trent and York Universities.

Why she is important? Rosemarie was president of the inuit in 1991-1996. She focused on negotiations to allow the natives to have self government. She also helped participate in the creation of the arctic council. She made a huge impact in securing native peoples equality and participation within more political and constitutional matters. here are some of Major Accomplishments rosiemarie has Governor Generals Confederation Medal National Aboriginal Achievement Award and honorary doctorates from Trent and York Universities the order of Canada and the Governor General’s Confederation Medal

Rosemarie she connects with Hyrum Graff took Ender as his own in the battle school and taught ender everything from right to wrong but yet he never told him about the buggers, but even though Hyrum was sincere much like Rosermarie as they always showed there feeling and never let negativity interfere.

( Short description about Rosemarie Kuptana) She is a former president of the Inuit of Canada. She became involved in Inuit organizations around 1975 in discussions between Inuit and the Government of Canada regarding Inuit land rights. In 1979, she joined the Northern Service Branch of the CBC, and subsequently joined the Inuit Broadcasting Corporation as a Production Co-ordinator and as President from 1983-1988. From 1986 to 1989, she was the Canadian Vice-president for the Inuit Circumpolar Conference. From 1991 to 1996, She served as President of the Inuit Tapirisat of Canada where she led negotiations seeking recognition of the inherent right of self-government of indigenous peoples. In 1995-1996, Kuptana was President of the Inuit Circumpolar Conference and helped establish the Arctic Council. Kuptana has received many awards for her service in the protection of Inuit culture and Inuit rights: the Order of Canada, the Governor General’s Confederation Medal, the 1994 National Aboriginal Achievement Award and honourary doctorates from Trent and York Universities.

In this course i also did a report on Roberta bondar and they both share the same qualities they both gave back to their nations and childhood homes they never took fame for granted and this is how they both resemble kindness

Determined, this connects to Jean Augustine as she said during the assembly she had an important role in Canada's Politics and there were things she had a say in and she had the decision not to change it, which is the exact definition of determination and this shows that Rosemarie Kuptana is as well because her nation chose her to protest something against a school and when you are in charge of something you are determined to do anything to make change.

through her confidence was victory because she was victorious in getting all the indigenous people there rights that they so greatly deserved.

I think this connects to Ender Wiggins from enders game . Ender is much like Rosemarie they are both caring along with having the desire to succeed Ender was more of a quite person and but he still cared for everyone even when Stilton hurt him, his intentions weren't for him to hurt him but either way they are both caring
