The focus of the learning goals is to enhance collaboration among peers by effectively sharing and listening to ideas, understanding each other's strengths and weaknesses, and establishing meaningful roles within a group.
Learning Goal: I can demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop innovative products and processes using technology
Success Criteria: Using the knowledge gained to think creatively, innovate and adapt to change more easily, Able to reflect on and share new learning.
Learning Goal: I can collaborate with peers during the process
Success Criteria: I am clear to my peers about my ideas and I listen effectively to the ideas of others, As a group we are able to understand each others' strengths and weaknesses, As a group we establish meaningful roles and responsibilites
Learning Goal: I can use research critically to identify what I need to know
Success Criteria: Evaluate the relevance and validity of sources (Is it relevant to what I want to design? Will it help me develop ideas?), Link the research directly to the problem.
Learning Goal: I can Identify and define problems and questions for investigation
Success Criteria: Restate the problem at hand, pose purposeful questions directed at solving the problem using critical analysis (what do I want to create, where do I go to find answers).
Learning Goal: I can make a plan to begin solving the problem
Success Criteria: Brainstorm ideas, Make a list of materials needed, Make a sketch/diagram/chart/flow of the design.

We will use curiosity, creativity and collaboration to learn about the design process, how to use it to solve problems, learn new knowledge and skills and communicate our results with others.
