nationalism

Patriotism and nationalism are often associated, but are quite different, patriotism is less extreme

example of a nationalist in Hitler How they are connected: Hitler claimed that he could make Germany perfect and have the ideal race, he seemed to think that he was doing a great service to his country by eliminating anyone he saw as unfit another example that is a bit less extreme is Donald Trump How they are connected: his slogan "make America Great Again" is a big proof that he is a nationalist.

Cons: enforcement tactics for laws can be dangerous and punishments can be extreme, leads to war and general unfairness

Pros: Continuously developing the economy (ie: new jobs, workplaces, infrastructure, etc), Strict laws to keep people in line, and suiting results when laws are not followed

utopianism

the opposite of utopianism is dystopianism

Charles fourier was a believer in utopianism, he hoped humans could be passionate and love each other.

Cons: a bit impractical to live in a "perfect" world, most likely unsustainable especially in terms of the economy

Pros: no more war, fighting, or general inequality

fascism

Fascism and capitalism have conflicting ideas

Italy has a background of Fascism two leaders being Benito Mussolini and Giovanni Gentile

Cons: too controlled of an environment and limited freedom

Pros: prioritize equality and living good, clean lives

Mohism

Confusicm is the opposite

People associated with Mohism are the chinese philosopher Mozi and

Pros: no more unnecessary rules, means things can be done more quickly and efficiently.

Cons: MAterialistic views

Anarchism

Famous anarchists: Karl Marx and Mikhail Bakunin

Cons: Anarchy begins, creating violence and a hectic environment to live in

Pros: there is a lack of government and authority, people and things are free

Socialism

Communism is associated with socialism

Famous socialist people: Stalin and putin both have socialist ideas

Cons: High Taxes

Pros: wealth is divided evenly so there is less poverty an struggles. Access to education and healthcare

Liberalism

Libertarianism is aligned with liberalism

Immanuel Kant was a philosopher with liberal ideology and Justin Trudeau is a liberal prime minister

Cons: each persons taxes goes to others needs too

Pros: seeks equality and fair justice,
