Personal Discipline

It is important to give children the skills they need to develop self-discipline, as well as the opportunity to practice making good decisions.

Improved self-discipline will allow you to live a freer life by helping you make healthy, non-emotional decisions.

Personal Qualities

Important personal qualities for English teachers include listening and being a good listener, thoughtfulness, being personable, timeliness, and adaptability.

Teachers must have Passion for teaching.

High ethical and moral standars

Be flexible

Thes play in the roles which teachers take.

Personal qualities are what make a person unique, allow them to navigate a new situation, make new friends and connections, or work through conflict or tensions.

Interpersonal skills

Some jobs as a teacher, where interpersonal skills are particularly important.

Good class climate, in which all members feel emotionally at ease, want to be in the group and find the necessary motivation for their learning.

Pedagogical Skills

"Pedagogical skills can generally be divided into classroom management skills and content-related skills." (Wolcke, 2020)

If the teacher has a good command in these areas, he/she is able to:

Technical skills and knowledge for teachers includes the next aspects:

Knows trough experience what is the best way to learn a foreign language.

Presents the basic principles of language, learning and teaching.

They are constantly have training in their field.

Understand the linguistic system of language

Understands the close relationship between language and culture.

Teachers must understand the material they teach. An English teacher must masters all four language skills.
