The word Oppression Was defined
by Augusto Boal; is when one
person is dominated by the
monologues of another person
who has no chance to reply.
The biggest goal of Augusto Boal
was to act out solutions to
social problems.
Boal had direct contact with many UK companies, including Cardboard Citizens, the RSC and People's Palace Projects.
It is said that in 1971 Boal was
kidnapped off the streets, arrested,
tortured and eventually exiled to
Argentina.

The invisible theatre involves actors
that perform a written and a
rehearsed problematic situation
in a public loaction to arouse responses
from pedestrians who are unaware
that they are being part of the theatre.
