History

The first mission that CMAT was included in was the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami. They also went to a disaster in 2005 called Hurricane Katrina and another one in 2005 called the Kashmir earthquake and 2007 called South Asian floods. Also CMAT was the first to arrive at the location, and a few other NGOs were on the missions with CMAT one of them is Red cross.

Then after all of those missions, they were founded in 2008

CMAT is a registered Canadian Charity which prides itself on being a grassroots humanitarian relief organization.

Made up of volunteers health professionals and non-health professionals who give their time and resources to assist and provide relief aid to the victims of natural and man-made disasters around the world

You can help by being a volunteer now by going to the website and registering but you have to be at least 18 years old, or u can donate to CMAT, even 1 dollar counts, they have 0 workers so the money will go to a good cause the whole company is run by volunteers.

Goal is to reduce human suffering and one of the reasons they stated this organization.

Natural disasters, humanitarian emergencies, and chronic poverty.

Developing countries but aims to communities most affected by poverty, conflict and natural disaster to heal their biological, psychological, and social wounds.
