The ITS vision is organized around certain of the College’s core activities: teaching and learning, research, student life and administration. The use of IT in each of these activities depends on a sound IT infrastructure, which in turn relies on a base of solid funding and governance.
Welcome to the ITS KnowledgeBase. The ITS KnowledgeBase allows for immediate 24/7 access to FAQs, answers to information technology related questions, problem resolutions, and general information about Information Technology at Pomona College.
Provide economical and convenient high-quality copying service to the campus.
Act as a liaison for ordering new copiers for departments on the Pomona College Campus.
Provide an array of printing services including color, poster, spiral binding, sccning to CDs, printing of electronic submissions, labels, etc..

Classroom and Meeting support
Media Services provides technology support for all classroom and most college sponsored academic functions. We have a variety of equipment which include, conference speakerphones, slide projectors, overhead projectors, sound systems, microphone, document cameras, digital projectors and PC laptops.
Please note: We do not support parties or social gatherings
Video and Web Conferencing Equipment
Media Services maintains and operate all video conferencing facilities on the Pomona campus and provides web conferencing support. Currently we have two videoconferencing facilities on campus and one portable unit that can be delivered to any meeting space or classroom. We also have Skype cameras and conference phones. Please contact Media Services to schedule a session.
Purchasing Advice and Pricing
Media Services can offer advice on purchasing media technologies and can help academic and administrative departments assemble their capital budget requests for technology.
Equipment Repair
Media Services can arrange for the repair of all classroom audio visual and college owned faculty office media equipment. This includes VHS, DVD, amplifiers, speakers, projectors, etc. We also have some loaner equipment that can be installed while equipment is out for repair. Media Services does not handle the repair of personally owned equipment, but will be happy to make recommendations and referrals to the appropriate repair shop.
New Construction and Renovation
The Media Services division is an integral part of the planning, design and implementation of newly constructed and renovated buildings. Media Services will meet with faculty, architects and consultants to determine the specific needs of the teaching space.
Classroom Technology Equipment Upgrade
Department chairs may request additional technology enhanced classrooms and/or upgrades to existing technology enhanced classrooms. Faculty who recognize a need in a particular classroom should work with his or her department chair to make the request.
Videotaping
Media Services no longer provides videotaping services. Please check with Media Services for alternatives.
Faculty can check out video cameras from the ITS Service Desk. (This service is not available to students)
Things we don’t do:
We do not support parties, social events, and dinners and are not equipped to provide background music.We do not loan equipment.We do not arrange staging, lighting or move furnitureWe do not support events in the Greek Theatre or Doms Lounge.We do not provide event support in residence halls.We do not provide event support for bands or theatrical productions.We have limited capabilities in supporting non-Pomona related events
