WHAT IS SCANNING?

It is a rapid reading technique where it is used to locate the general meaning of the reading or a certain part of it. This technique now takes you a long time and gives you a very general idea of what the text or paragraph is about. The purpose of this lesson is to teach students how and why skim textual material.

How is this type of reading used?
