Kinds of Knowledge

Different kinds of knowledge acquisition are explored through examples and theoretical perspectives. Acquaintance knowledge is illustrated by the sticky nature of glue and honey, emphasizing direct sensory experience.

Kinds of Knowledge

What connections can be made between the real-life examples of truths or forms of truths that you found, and the way we gain knowledge? As knowledge can be gained through personal experience, educated guesses supported by small experiments, and common knowledge believed by the masses. it is easier to believe something you have experienced since it affected your senses which, we assume, can be trusted. But not all types of knowledge can be reliable as information believed by the masses can often be misinterpreted or taken out of context. How do certain ways of knowing connect to different kinds of knowing? The difference in ways of knowing is very small and the only true differences are the wording of the statements since some statements can give you the security or truthful acquisition of that knowledge.

In the end it is always best to conduct your own research as the best and most reliable thing you can do to obtain knowledge is experiencing the event or seeing the thing happen, but if seeing or experiencing the event yourself is not possible it is best to find a creditable source of information which is confirmed to have an un-biased opinion to the information you are looking for.
