Charter of Rights and Freedoms (Example)

Equality Rights:

Every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to the equal protection and equal benefit of the law without discrimination and, in particular, without discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability.

Mobility Rights:

We can work anywhere in the country.

Canadians have the right to leave or stay in Canada.

We may move anywhere in Canada without permission.

Guarantee of rights and freedoms:

freedom of peaceful assembly and freedom of association.

reedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication;

freedom of conscience and religion;

Legal Rights:

Right to use public parks, etc.
