By 1850 Britain’s indrustry had made her rich and she was increasing her navy to protect the sea routes to her great empire.

In 1871 Germany became a new nation affter her massive army beat France in a bitter way.

Germany spent a lot of money after 1990 to catch up with Britain’s navy.

All the great powers were increasing their armies and navies between 1913 and 1914.

Since 1878 Rusia had worked hard to gall allies and friends in South-East Europe by helping nationalist groups there.

By 1911 Germany believed she was encircle by an enemy alliance.

Europe’s complicated system of alliances deragged all the great powers into war by 4 Agust 1914.

Serbia was helped by the Triple Entenente alliances. It tied together three grat powers: Rusia, Britain and France.

Serbia’s enemies included the alliances of the Central Powers. Germany and Rusia.

Germany had a new kaiser in 1888 and he wanted his country to buil an empire.

Serbia had grown in 1912 and 1913 and wanted to join all Serbs in one nation.

Austria-Hungary was a powerful empire wich feared it might fall apartif it gave in to nationalists in 1914.

Serb nationalist murdered the Austria Archduke on 28 of June of 1914.
