Heat transfer is a combination of conduction, convection, radiation, and thermal energy. Without heat transfer we couldn't cool or warm our homes, we couldn't have warm swimming pools, we would never be even remotely warm. Without sunlight there would be no existence.
Conduction is a form of heat transfer. When an object or substance is hot, and your colder body temperature connects to it, your transferring thermal energy through conduction. For example, when there is a hot pot and your hand touches it, the heat from the pot transfers to your hand casing it to burn.
conductors
Conductors help conduct heat faster. Pots and pans spread heat fast. Wood floors conduct heat faster than tile, for this reason upstairs floors are usually wood to keep people warm faster. Lots of materials can be used as conductors such as copper, steel, gold, and many others.
Radiation is from the sun. When the suns hot rays hit the Earth, it travels and transfers heat. Most objects absorb the heat. Even we do. The rest of the heat gets absorbed in the Earths surface.
Convection is a proccess of heat transfer. For example, heat molecules are more compact and so they are at bottom of a hot pot. The cold molecules are at the top of the pot because the cold air near the surface touches them making them that temperature. The molecules flow around making convection.
Thermal energy occurs when the air level speeds up or speeds down. This causes hot air molecules to bunch up together and causes the cold air molecules to separate. When this happens, the air in a room because more hot or more cold. This changes the air flow in a room. When you change the thermostat this is the process that follows to ensure you the temperature you need.
