Tourists gone from Italy, the long-polluted canals of Venice now appear clear as fish and other wildlife start returning.

Wildlife is also appearing in other major cities again and the biodiversity is slowly starting to return in various parts of the world.

People all around the world are finding new ways to address the need for interconnectedness. In Italy, one of the worst-hit countries, people are joining their instruments and voices to create music from their balconies. People are leading street dance parties while maintaining social distancing.

Learning how to become a more resilient learner and Individual.

Education is being reevaluated.

New ideas of how VCE students should be marked..examples of this include the learner profile:being able to include all extracurricular activities such as a first job. The aim of this is to display the students strengths practically outside of academia.

Negative effects of COVID19

Increased number of school drop outs

The economy is being affected

Isolation/peoples mental health is being affected

Not all students have been able to continue their learning due to low SES circumstances.

No access to a computer or WIFI

Parents are struggling to manage working from home and teaching their kids from home.

Not knowing if exams,SACs or the GAT will be happening this year.
