People migrate to Canada for various reasons, often categorized into three main types: refugees, skilled workers, and family class immigrants. Refugees flee their countries due to persecution based on factors like race and religion or due to armed conflicts.

War, Poverty Independent/Skilled Worker People who leave their country and have plenty of work experience and skills that are transferable to Canada.
