Five Research techni

Various research techniques are essential in understanding behaviors and phenomena in different contexts. Experimental research involves manipulating an independent variable to observe its effect on a dependent variable, providing a robust method for determining causality within practical and ethical limits.

Five Research techniques

Case Study

because of pollution in the Mediterranean sea many marine creatures migrated and left the sea.
it can be only described not explained through experimentalism
helps to get deep details about an individual or a phenomenon
collecting data about a behavior through observers

Correlation

statistics show that obesity is a major problem for many Americans because they east a big amount of food more than people in other communities
it is a systematic way to show relation between two behaviors, but it doesn’t show the cause-effect
it is an alternative of experimental research for finding the relation between two behaviors
using statistics to monitor the behavior of a object

Survey

the world survey on whether Iran stops there nuclear program or not
it has to be clear for surveyors in order to be accurate
it helps in collecting data of a behavior of a large groups
collecting data about a behavior through interviews and questionnaires

Naturalistic observation

naturalistic observation research shows the mediterranean sea level is increasing that it covers more land every certain period of time
cause- effect cannot be proven unless through experimenting the results of naturalistic observation research in lab.
it is more descriptive than experiments done in laboratories
monitoring a behavior of a phenomenon over a long period of time

Experimental

half of the brain cells of birds grow when they are in an enclosed area, but brain cells of birds in natural environment totally grow.
it can only be used under practical and ethical restrictions.
a powerful method in knowing the cause-effect of nature.
testing through changing independent variables to see its effect on dependent variables.
