paintball now a days is a very expensive roll playing sport ,today the guns or mostly reffred to markers are very technologic the offer a wide range of tweaks than the old pump markes wich were single fire and you had to cock it back every time, to shoot. now we have fully automatic guns 3 round burst and more. also the bunkers have changed,now they are mostly made out of plastic,before they were made out of wood , trees etc....

well I am going to teach you the basic parts of a paintball marker first the most important the air tank were the co2 or psi is placed to let go a small quantity of air to push the paintball , the barrell is were the paintball travels through to the target,the hopper is where the paintballs are stored and last but not least the body . the body is were the sets of springs and o rings are that make the marker work

you l usually  feel a slight sting that will quickly fade  paintballs can also cause welts and bruisesdepending on the speed of the ball, the distance the ball travels, and where onyour body the ball hits. To keep things fun and safe, be sure to keep your gunfiring slower than 280 feet per second, and never shoot people from less than20 feet away.  How much a paintball hurtsalso depends on how much padding or protection you wear.
