ARCHITECT

As architecture it is called the art of devising, designing and constructing buildings and structures where human activities can unfold, and which, at the same time, are functional, durable and aesthetically valuable.

He was a very influential English architect within the artistic world, as well as being the founder of the Arts and Crafts movement that totally rejected industrial production in the decorative arts and architecture.

The Red House is a property that was built by Philip Webb in 1859 in England, commissioned by William Morris. It takes its name from the material with which its walls were built, red brick.

PAINTING

Painting is an artistic manifestation of a visual nature that uses a set of techniques and materials to capture, on a specific surface, a graphic composition according to certain aesthetic values.

María Izquierdo (1902-1955)

She was a Mexican painter, the first to exhibit her works outside of Mexico, in 1930. Her first exhibition took place at the Art Center in New York City.

Artistic paintings can be referred to by the type of subject they cover, and these can be on historical, religious, landscape, abstract, conceptual, still life, nudes or social criticism.

SCULPTURE

Sculpture is the art of creating shapes in three-dimensional space, whether molded, carved, sculpted, or in relief. There are records of sculptural activity from the prehistoric period.

He was a French sculptor. Considered the father of modern sculpture, its importance is due to the break with the academic canon that prevailed in the 19th century in France.

A sculpture is also a noun that indicates the object created by the sculptor artist. With this work, the sculptor manages to express his ideas, be they figurative or abstract, reflecting what is in the artist's mind and his technical ability.
