Free and Fair Elections
-Every adult located in Canada has the right to vote for anyone in the election
-Adults can attempt to join a political office as well
-No threats or bribing is allowed during an election
-there must be an election in every 5 or less years to re-choose or choose a representative

Mpp Jama had a very critical statement about what is currently going on in palestine and doug ford happens to have the opposite opinion and now doug ford is threatening to take away Mpp janas position due to the fact she won't take down her prior opinion off of a social media platform ( she has apologized). It's sad how people can't state their opinions without facing concequences.

-Internet gives every a voice but when anyone can it results in a lot of information some being fake
-Alot of fake info circling around fake or not

Disinformation: made fake to lie to people or start rumors and made to start problems and cause harm to others.
Misinformation: Made to state their side or what they think is true resulting in people believing it (not made to harm others)
It is important to learn how to consume and share media/information responsibly in a democracy.
-Make people believe it's true when it comes to voting and the person is being pointed out to be a good person when in reality they aren't a good human.
-When false information is spread it can lead people to make worse/bad decisions when it comes to anything in life

Mpp Jama has been kicked out of her position due to posting an opinion online and refusing to take that piece of information down. She stated how she felt about the Palestine and Israel war and she shouldn't be threatened and losing her job for just speaking her mind online.

The UNDRIP is a United Nations Document set out because of the history of Indigenous peoples all over the world who have been oppressed and had their land taken unfairly.
They're land had been taken unfairly and they were washed of any reminders of their past resulting in the most pain for the indigenous ever.
They were s=commonly assaulted sexually and physically throughout the many tortuous they were forced to endure. They were stolen from the family, from their heritage and Canada must pay for their sins.
