When the weather it is very hot and humed staying at home and don't go out for walk because it is very hot.

They suffer from poor ability to sweat. Since the function of sweating is to provide evaporation, which in turn provides cooling, the elderly have a reduced ability to release heat from the body.
The hotter the weather the more people will need AC. Also the more AC that's running the more power will be used.
If it is everyone is running the air condition the technology for power will not may able to support everyone.
