Terrorism

The tragic events of September 11, 2001, were orchestrated by the terrorist group al-Qaeda, led by Osama bin Laden. On that day, 19 terrorists hijacked four planes, crashing two into the World Trade Center towers in New York City, one into the Pentagon, and the last, Flight 93, was brought down by passengers in Pennsylvania to prevent further destruction.
