Triangulation of Questionnaires

Design questionnaire

Questions should be useful to telling the story of Titanfall's start up. This could be the year they first heard of the game, the year they first played. If they wished they'd played the game sooner or not.If they had ever seen an ad for the game etc.Try to come up with some more useful questions as well along the line. Avoid bias questions that are like Is Titanfall 2 the best game of all time - We're asking different communities so obviously it wouldn't be their favourite game.I still feel this is slightly weak so keep developing this idea.

This is essentially sending a questionnaire to Titanfall fans - so the ideas are Titanfall discords, Reddit pages etc - this is where I've noticed the community most active - send these guys the questionnaire meet at least 30 respondents and save data. Then from here I can ask a different community but, still tied to the Titanfall universe - Apex legends this is very active currently so this can give a overview of a mix of people who know about the game and don't - the questionnaire will be the same but, will still be separate. For the last one I was thinking of asking a wider community such as r/gaming or random community discords to get more of a broad termed view from people - this should be the biggest and should give a more wide ranged view.

Using trackers of the three games

In titan-fall's release two other games crowded around it, Battlefield and a COD game. We can compare the numbers of these three websites using sites like google trends, so by gathering a large amount of date for each one we can likely see a.correlation with the release and the player counts of each game. This can really illustrate the story of its under-shipment.

Both Primary research and Secondary research will be simple and easy to access for both myself and whoever accesses the Questionnaire. The questionnaire can be sent remotely via google forms and can be placed in posts or in channels to be used by respondents - in other words no contact is needed between respondents and/or Myself.In terms of Secondary research I'll only be using websites as for now, this means all details can be accessed without having to be taken out or have requests put in to use - its available publicly and remotely making it more easy and efficient.

Not as abundant on this topic but, this could include structuring language for television books or language in media and how its used.

This could be an investigation into communities on what they know about Titanfall, if it was less or more popular with people than it was made out to be. As well as just how many people discovered the game in the longer stretch of time after release, or if they picked other games over Titanfall etc.

This wold mostly be taking notes on what I have done and made so far, getting feedback and insight on what others think is good and what else could be done.

Interviews

Less likely but, still a valid option this could be done with a representative from communities that I investigate, in Titanfall, Apex and just in general so they can tell us more. Could even be with creators (if possible) to discover when they picked up the game.
