Traditional Economies

The oldest type of economy, very common in developing countries. In this economy people produce their own goods the same as their ancestors did.

Directed Economies

Economy where the government directs what goods and services will be produces and who will produce those goods and services. These economies are almost always totalirian governments that allow their citzens few freedom.

Socialism

Type of directed economy in which the government owns all the property. All individuals work for the state and are based on what the state believes their contributions to society are worth.

Communism

A political structure that requires an economy directed by a central government. Communist governments require their citizens to accpet society needs ahead of personal needs.

Discrimination

The act of treating people differently for their origin, religion, color, race etc

Confidentiality

Employers are required to have certain personal information from their employees that they have an obligation to keep private

Sexual Harrassment

Occurs when an employer, supervisor, or executive in a company threatens an employee with firing, demotion or lack of promotion if the employee does not provide sexual favors.

Accessability

Protects individuals from unjust discrimination. It requires businesses to make acomodation for both mental and physical handucaps.

When a company has complete control and there is no competition in the market

The gross income or total income after all the deductions like taxes and expenses are deducted from the initial income

Honesty

It is a critical act for any contract

Intergrity

The act of a high unethical behavior in all matters
