Schools, banks and offices close for the day

Schools, clubs and churches decorate the cemeteries

They hold memorial services in churches, halls,
parks and cemeteries.

Veterans Day

National Cemetery in Arlington.
Senior officials come from Washington.

They lay a wreath of flowers on the grave.

All stand in silence for a few minutes at eleven o'clock to honor
military personnel killed in two world wars.
