The difference between skimming the surface and truly engaging. Not just looking for what’s already out there but for ideas that aren’t already out there. Curiosity is what makes us unique from machines. Our minds are built to constantly adapt.

Trying to understand where people are coming from. Not just understanding people and different cultures broadly but also deeply. Empathy is at the core of our ability to communicate.

Taking action instead of letting your creative ideas float away. Knowing when to reach out to other people for different opinions.

Important in every context. “Liberating human energy”. Getting information is not the biggest challenge - it’s how you bring your own unique perspective to connect ideas in new ways that will differentiate you. Some of your most creative thoughts happen when your mind is left to wander - daydreaming, exercising.
