Cinco de Mayo:

Cinco de Mayo commemorates the victory of the Mexican army over the French forces in the Battle of Puebla, which occurred on May 5, 1862. Although it is not an official holiday throughout Mexico, it is celebrated with enthusiasm in the city of Puebla and in other parts of the country.
