Definition : A simple machine made up of a bar that pivots at a fixed point called the fulcrum
This is a class 1 lever, the fulcrum is in the middle, and the load is on one side, and the effort is on another.It is used to lift objects.
A wheel barrow is a lever because the fulcrum is the wheel, the load is in the middle and the effort is on the end pushing up. This is used to lift heavy objects with less effort.

Definition : A simple machine consisting of two circular objects of different sizes, the wheel is the bigger one and the axle is the smaller one
A door knob is a wheel and axle because the wheel is the knob and the axle is the stick inside that it is rotating on. Its used to open a door.

This is a pulley because it is a wheel and axle supporting a rope that holds up the bucket when someone applies force to the other end of the rope. This is used to lift the bucket.
