My stories or their stories?

r

If they are talkative, let them talk. Use your stories only as fillers. Or motivators to get them thinking of their stories. The class should be based on this...1. Material2. Their stories3. Your stories only to prompt the material and/or their stories.

How & When to engage participation

When to let class discussion happen, when to move it on (and how)

The quiet ones are...?

r

The quiet ones are maybe executors waiting to be heard. They may be shy or reserved. WHat if you offend one of them?

Allies in class look like?

r

Allies can be the quiet ones. They can be the vocal ones. THEY CAN BE YOUR SUPPORT TECH when you need an out.

Humor/Sarcasm? What does it look like?

r

Also make sure you are understood. That people can repeat back what you mean not just what you said in case there is any misconception. Examples of sarcasm - inappropriate humor - they set people up. They lead them down a bad trail or dead end trail.

Time keeping
