El impuesto sobre las ventas, comúnmente denominado impuesto al valor agregado IVA, es un gravamen que recae sobre el consumo de bienes y servicios. En Colombia se aplica en las diferentes etapas del ciclo económico de la producción, importación y distribución. Fiscalmente el concepto de valor agregado, como su denominación lo indica, corresponde a la diferencia entre el valor pagado por los bienes y servicios gravados adquiridos y el valor que al momento de la venta o prestación del servicio gravado se adiciona, de tal manera que el impuesto a las ventas se causa únicamente sobre el mayor valor adicionado en la nueva operación, pero el impuesto pagado al adquirirlos se trata como descontable. Para la aplicación del impuesto sobre las ventas, los bienes y los servicios se clasifican en gravados, excluidos y exentos.

The middle of the story is where you add layers of complications that will lead to the end. Reveal more about the character's journey. Did their personality go through changes? How did they overcome the challenges? And as you build up the story’s central conflict, make it more personal to that character. Also, from the middle act, you have to lead into the final act.
