Art 1

The nature of this Code is of a formative nature and of strict compliance. Its purpose is to establish a set of performance standards that allow it to
develop the staff of the University of Guayaquil, their activities according to the criteria of commitment, probity and social responsibility, to strengthen the healthy coexistence, the work education, institutional identity and the common good.

Art 4

The members of the university community who know of any fact
incompatible with this Code, and that violates the principles contained in its
Articles, they must inform such superiors or authorities of such facts correspondent.

Art 6

Ethical principles are postulates that have value for themselves. They are true
evident, that correspond to rooted moral convictions and of universal application, they constitute the base of the ethical duties that we must fulfill in life.

Art 19

All the organs of which the University of Guayaquil is composed, the
Teaching staff, Administrative staff and Workers, will carry out their activities based on exclusively in the accuracy and technical rigor, without discrimination based on factors scientifically irrelevant such as age, sex, language, ethnicity or religion and without attending to previous judgments of value.
