Plot: 3 generations. Emily, the rich, stuck in her ways mother of loralei, who ran away when she was a teen because she was pregnant with our main character rory. This story follows their journey and their special mother daughter bond, as well as the strained one between Emily and Lorelai.
Its effect: my sense of humour, my idea of family. It's my comfort show--the one that can always make me feel good if nothing else can.
